# Sonoma Plaza

The largest historic plaza in California (8 acres), ringed by wine bars, restaurants, and boutiques that have occupied the same Victorian storefronts for generations. The central duck pond and playground draw families; the surrounding blocks hold most of Sonoma's best restaurants. The Bear Flag Monument marks where California declared independence in 1846.
